Quadle is a free puzzle game published by Stringband Games ("we", "us"). This page explains what information Quadle collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. Quadle has no user accounts and no server-side backend for your gameplay -- it's a static site, and almost everything described below happens entirely on your own device.

Game Progress & Stats

Your wins, losses, streaks, and daily-puzzle progress are saved using your browser's local storage, directly on your device. This data is never transmitted to us or stored on any server we control. Clearing your browser's site data for quadle.io (or uninstalling the app, if you're using it as an installed app) permanently deletes it.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

Quadle shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

Hosting & Server Logs

Quadle is hosted on Cloudflare. Like most web hosts, Cloudflare may process standard technical information (such as IP address and request metadata) as part of delivering the site to you, governed by Cloudflare's own privacy policy. We don't have separate server logs or analytics of our own beyond this.

Children's Privacy

Quadle is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since Quadle has no accounts and no data-entry beyond gameplay itself, no personal information is ever knowingly requested from anyone, regardless of age.

Your Choices

Because Quadle keeps essentially everything on your own device, you're in direct control of it: clear your browser's local storage for quadle.io to erase your saved stats and progress, and use the ad opt-out links above to control personalized advertising.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change with it. We encourage checking back occasionally if you have concerns.
